We’ve seen quite a few guilds go back lately and take on Sarth 3D for the first time. Of course, it’s got to be much easier now with Ulduar-level gear wandering around, and ToC giving out gear and tokens relatively easily. But especially if your guild has the time, why not go grab an “Of the Nightfall” title for everyone? That’s what our friends in The Risen here did, and they look pretty snazzy.
Lots more guild progress, as well as recruiting and drama, in this week’s edition of Guildwatch, which starts right after the break. If you have a tip for us about your guild or one you’ve seen on the forums, please format it just like the news you see below and send it along to guildwatch@wow.com. Thanks! Enjoy!
DRAMA
I think this is probably more common that we might think. That One Guild on Turalyon had most of the people in it thinking that Soulin was the guildmaster, considering that he served, we hear, as the recruiting officer and website

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Patch 3.3 full of diseased wolves! D.H.E.T.A. protesting Abbey over wolf hunts! Extra! Extra!
Okay, maybe changing this isn’t the most earth shattering news. Seeing Blizzard change quests or even add new animal skins is something we normally expect with each patch. But this one is different. Going back to the starting areas and changing the quests and mobs there isn’t something we see as every day. As such, it begs the question as to why now? Or maybe more intriguingly, what does it mean?
In the current Wolves Across the Border quest, you’re asked to go get 8 pieces of Tough Wolf Meat for Eagan Peltskinner. We’ve now seen that this has changed on the Patch 3.3 PTR. Now it looks like Eagan’s favorite meal is being threatened. Instead of killing those healthy, howling, wolves for their meat, Eagan is talking about some mysterious disease.
Disease? What disease?
As far as I know there hasn’t been any sign of the

Over on the WoW LJ community, poster Honem has pointed out something that made me sort of squeal with glee when I first read it: The latest PTR build includes a couple very interesting new functions, as reported by official forum MVP Iriel:
NEW – QueryQuestsCompleted() requests that the server send the client a list of completed quest ids. Once the list is received the QUEST_QUERY_COMPLETE event is fired. (There is a limit on how frequently this can be called)
NEW – tbl = GetQuestsCompleted([tbl]) populates a table (creating one if necessary) with the ids of completed quests.
That’s right, you can now get a list of every quest your character has completed. Testers on the MMO Champion forums report that it’s only the quest IDs themselves that get sent, but addons such as Lightheaded and Questhelper, one would assume, can probably take care of the rest as long as they get those quest IDs.
The ability to recall completed quests should be a good boon to mod

Dodge the drama and become that player everyone wants in their group with the Drama Mamas. Lisa Poisso and Robin Torres are real-life mamas and experienced WoW players — and just as we don’t want our precious babies to be the ones kicking and wailing on the floor of checkout lane next to the candy, neither do we want you to become known as That Guy on your server. We’re taking your questions at DramaMamas (at) WoW (dot) com.
The great thing about playing massively multiplayer games is all of the wonderful people you get to meet and hang out with, no matter your respective locations. And the bad thing is all of the inconsiderate people who forget that you’re a real person with other things to do than be his/her playmate on his/her schedule. This week, we talk about taking control of your fun.
Should a small group boot?
Dear Drama Mamas: You probably don’t often hear about situations like mine. I’m a member in a very small casual guild. To

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW.com’s (almost) daily Q&A column where the WoW.com team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky be your host today.
I’m just going to let that video speak for itself today, and get started on the questions.
@sammagher asked…
“Why do grey items even exist, if only to be sold to vendors or occasionally used as RP gear?”
You hit on two important points right there. The first is for vendor trash. Who doesn’t like vendoring a grey sword and getting a couple gold? Don’t po-po that gold, it can add up quickly.
And while RP might not be in your bag of things you enjoy doing, it is for some people — and Blizzard has made sure there’s stuff for them to enjoy.
@wuhtehtuh asked…
“How can I find a raiding guild that’s efficient yet willing to bring in someone who is just now starting to raid in Wrath?”
You’re going to run into two types of guilds. Those

Grizzleton writes that his guild, Ex Cinis Cineris of Farstriders, has changed its tabard to pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. “One of the guild’s officers is a breast cancer survivor still in treatment, and many other guild members and their loved ones have had experiences with this disease. In the public forum on the Ex Cinis Cineris website is a very helpful thread dealing with this issue. As the aforementioned officer put it when the guild rallied behind supporting this cause, “We may be gamers and geeks, but we have hearts!” For their first event, the guild formed a pink ribbon with their avatars on the Stormwind Harbor steps. ECC has also planned a Farstriders serverwide Pink event for Friday October 16th in Stormwind Harbor. Check the Blizzard Farstriders forum for details.”
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see them
